Pantone 2020 Classic Blue

國際色彩權威潘通連續19年選出年度趨勢色彩,而2020年的年度之色就是潘通編號19-4052的“ 經典藍”。根據官方說法,我們正生活在一個需要信任與信心的時代,經典藍宛如薄暮時刻的天空,也如廣闊無邊的海洋,為人類心靈帶來平和及寧靜,讓我們重新集中思緒,將眼光擴闊並拓展思維。
Forecasting the trend color for 19 years, Pantone announced PANTONE 19-4052, Classic Blue, as the Pantone Color of the Year for 2020. Living in a time that requires trust and faith, a boundless blue evocative of the vast and infinite evening sky and ocean brings a sense of peace and tranquility to the human spirit, it encourages us to look beyond the obvious to expand our thinking.

褪下前兩年的活潑色彩,如今迎來沉穩深邃的經典藍。的確,藍色是一個永恆不朽的色調,它優雅簡約,既是尊貴的皇族顏色,卻又平易近人,男女老少皆宜,可以輕易加入日常穿搭中,比如經典的藍色西裝,或者是瀟灑而個性十足的丹寧。經典 藍比海軍藍稍微淺色,又比天空藍深一點,而選擇這種永不過時的顏色,也正好反映這個世代人們開始注重環保意識,因為這種色調的單品不會過了一季或一年就褪流行,可以代代相傳。其實在經典藍被選為年度代表色之前,就早已是設計師們在伸展台上,以及眾多時尚愛好者心中的百搭色彩。

After previously picking the vibrant colors, Pantone now embraces Classic Blue which is calm and imbued with a deep resonance. A shade lighter than navy but darker than sky blue, the color is a timeless and elegant choice meant to embody stability and simplicity. It is a distinguished royal color, yet it is also approachable and genderless, you can easily find it in different outfits such as the blue suits or the chic denim. And because it’s good old blue, pieces in this color shouldn’t go out of style soon, which is valuable to those who have environmental awareness and want to consume less, they can even get passed down from generation to generation. While Classic Blue is the color of 2020, it has been poking around the design world for a while already because of its versatility.

就以今年各大品牌的春夏系列為例,到處都看到藍色的影子,其中的表表者就是巴黎世家的2020春夏巴黎時裝秀。整個秀場以鮮明的藍色為背景,其中一條以天鵝絨材質製成的藍色裙撐洋裝更是眾人的焦點,統一色調帶來強烈視覺衝擊。此外,香奈兒、菲拉格慕等女裝,以及愛馬仕、迪奥.桀傲和紀梵希等男裝,都見經典藍調服飾出現。

You can find blue everywhere in different Spring/Summer 2020 fashion shows. For instance, the fashion show of Balenciaga was presented in an auditorium covered wall-to-wall in a signature blue. One of the highlights was the blue velvet bell-shaped gown. The unified color tone brought a strong visual impact. The color also appeared in the womenswear of Chanel and Ferragamo, and the menswear of Hermès, Christian Dior and Givenchy.

經典藍調的手袋在今年也掀起一股熱潮,不少品牌都在2020年為經典手袋款式推出藍色的配色,例如香奈兒的垂蓋包、賽琳Classic Box 蜥蜴皮單肩包、克里斯汀.迪奥Dior Book Tote Camouflage 藍色刺繡帆布包、聖羅蘭Kate Monogram 流蘇鏈帶包,當然還有JW Anderson 的經典藍帽子包等。各位女士們知道今年的收藏目標了吧!

Classic Blue handbags set off a wave in fashion world this year. Many brands launched their classic handbags in blue in 2020, such as Chanel’s flap bag, Celine Classic Box Bag in lizard, Blue Dior Book Tote Camouflage Embroidered Canvas Bag, Saint Laurent Kate Monogram chain bag, and the iconic JW Anderson Cap Bag. Now ladies should know this year’s top handbag trends poised to overtake closets.

To stay on the cutting edge of trends, we could all use a stable color like this one in our lives. Pantone cooperates with companies in different fields every year to launch products that promote the annual colors. For instance, it collaborated with sustainable sneaker brand Cariuma to launch the lassic Blue sneakers, partnered with Firmenich, a well-known Swiss fragrance and flavor company, to create the essence of the “smell” of Classic Blue, and also partnered with The Inside, a digitally native home furnishings brand, to develop a custom Classic Blue fabric with soft and velvety texture. Supermoon Bakehouse from New York also specially made the Classic Blue desserts. This year, let us immerse ourselves in Classic Blue!
