The two-storey Sun Kitchen resembles a glass box perched on the water’s edge of Albert Park Lake in Melbourne, featuring stylish contemporary design and floor-to-ceiling windows with breathtaking dusk and night views of the lake and surrounds. Sun Kitchen’s event spaces and catering offer a splendid setting for wedding banquets, cocktail parties, family gatherings, and business occasions. The elegant and spacious ballroom can host up to hundreds of guests.

Surrounded by the sea, Australia has an abundance of seafood. To pair with white wine, the sweet and fine-texture Australian lobsters and king crabs wok-fried with ginger and spring onion, spicy salt and pepper, or in Typhoon Shelter Style are just irresistible. Other fresh seafood recommendations include morwong, coral trout, barramundi and parrot fish. One should never miss Chef Lu’s signature Cantonese dish – Imperial Treasure Seafood Claypot, featuring ingredients such as abalone, sea cucumber, scallop and dried oyster, dressed with exclusive sauce. Hot pots are available with rich-flavoured soups like Sichuan spicy soup, seasoned pork bone and wild mushroom soup, Korean fresh ginseng soup, etc. It is definitely a perfect dining experience to enjoy the freshest seafood and top ingredients like Wagyu beef (MS9+ & MS7+).

The restaurant’s dedicated wine cellar offers one of the most extensive selections in Melbourne with no fewer than 888 labels, valued at around AUD 1.5 million (RMB 7.07 million), with an Asian flavour infuses the cocktail list.
