當那邊廂英國脫歐仍彌漫著眾多未知的不明朗因素,這邊廂兩部非歐洲車廠打造的超跑經已強勢登場,震撼車迷目光。
Leave the intensified Brexit uncertainty aside, the launches of the two non-European supercars attract plenty of attention of car enthusiasts.

相信不少車迷,跟筆者一樣,在環球眾多名車之中,往往對歐洲車情有獨鍾,特別是超級跑車的類別,風格迥異、卻各具魅力。好像意國代表法拉利、林寶堅尼充滿拉丁情人的不羈野性;德國代表保時捷的利落線條;英國紳士阿斯頓馬丁的優雅高貴等等,這些超跑,縱使不能近身接觸,偶然在街上遇見遠觀也是賞心悅目之事。誠然,世界之大,要數內外兼備的著名超跑當然不僅局限於產地與品牌,因此,要擴闊對汽車的品味與視野,應該先從“ 脫歐”開始。

相對於歐洲車的平均比例,美國出品的超跑往往被人詬病為龐然大物、耗油怪,但公平一點說,“ 喜愛”從來是一份感覺,不用比較,亦沒有甚麼客觀標準,正如有人喜歡美國隊長鋼鐵人,亦有人對綠巨人一見傾心!

好像當筆者首次看到這部福特著名超跑Mustang Shelby GT500的圖片時,那份狂野的美可謂世上絕無僅有!這部掛上眼鏡蛇廠徽的野馬,是Mustang有史以來性能最強的版本,也具備最佳的賽道成績與攻彎能力;動力系統承襲現有Shelby GT350之5.2升V8機械增壓引擎,再經由Ford Performance部門特調,最大馬力從原本526匹一舉突破700匹,變速箱也從六速手排進階為七速雙離合器,能在100 毫秒內完成換檔,0-100 km/h加速可在3.5秒完成!性能表現顯著精進。

說過美國超跑,不如說說日本超跑,在七、八十年代,日本超跑委實也擁有她的光輝歲月,不少車迷也對“ 戰神”Skyline趨之若鶩,斯巴魯在世界各地的房車賽表現卓越等等,當然豐田所打造的終極超跑Supra 也是不少“ 70 後”車迷的集體回憶!

在經歷2018年的“ 間諜照”曝光後,終於第五代豐田 Supra(代號A90)正式於2019年北美車展上發表。新車是由豐田旗下性能部門Gazoo Racing負責打造, 外觀方面延續2014 年發表的FT-1Concept概念車所設計,雖然實際量產車型並沒有像概念車那樣誇張的外型,但整體線條仍然與FT-1 Concept有高度的相似,並且保有了充滿肌肉感的車身鈑件,有著同門經典跑車2000GT的影子,車頂的“ Double Bubble ”設計更是增添車身動感。動力編成部份,首波公佈的Supra 日規版本分為RZ、SZ-R、SZ三種車型,RZ為搭載3.0升直六渦輪引擎的頂級車型,擁有340 ps/51 kgm的動力輸出,搭配8速手自排變速箱,0-100 km/h加速能於4.3秒完成。美日經典超跑悉數回歸,一眾慣於品嚐意粉及炸魚的車迷是時候轉轉口味吧。

I believe many motoring fans are fond of European cars just like me, especially a variety of stylish and charismatic supercars. For instance, the wildness of Italian sportscars – Ferraris and Lamborghinis; the sleek lines of German supercars such as Porsche;and the elegance of Aston Martin, the British gentleman’s car. It is pleasant to encounter them on the road, let alone driving them. However, to broaden the taste and vision of high-quality supercars, we should not just focus on the European ones.

Compared with the average dimensions,the American supercars are often largerthan the European cars with more fuel consumption. But to be fair, love is only a feeling without objective standards. For example, one can love either Captain America, Iron Man or Hulk, thus comparison is unnecessary. Just like I fell in love with the wild and unique Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 when I first saw its official photograph. The Shelby GT500 with a cobra badge isthe ultimate Mustang, featuring a supercharged 5.2-litre V-8 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, with 700-plus horsepower specially designed by Ford Performance. The dual-clutch transmission is capable of changing gears in less than 100 milliseconds, and it goes from 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.

Now let’s talk about the Japanese supercars. The 1970s and 1980s marked the golden era of Japanese supercars. Many auto enthusiasts were obsessed with the Nissan Skyline. Subaru had outstanding performances in touring car championships around the world. Moreover, the iconic sports car Toyota Supra was a collective memory of Generation X.

While spy shots of Toyota Supra have surfaced in 2018, the fifth generation A90 Edition Toyota Supra was officially debuted at the Detroit Auto Show in 2019. Created by Toyota Gazoo Racing, the design heavily based around the Toyota FT-1 Concept which was revealed in 2014, even though the styling of the actual model is not as aggressive as the concept car. It traces much of its roots back to the 2000GT with the double bubble roof. For the models, the Japanese version is divided into the Supra RZ, SZ-R and RZ-S. The Supra RZ is powered by a 3 litre twin-turbocharged inline-six engine. It musters power and torque figure of 340 ps/51 kgm, with an 8 speed automatic transmission. Its speed can increase from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.
